According to the website of OIB, the grids are Bogazici, Trakya and Gediz grids operational in western Turkey and Dicle grid located in the southeast of the country.
OIB said 17 bids have been received for the pre-qualification to bid in a tender for Bogazici Elektrik Dagitim AS, 15 bids for Dicle Elektrik Dagitim AS, 15 bids for Gediz Elektrik Dagitim AS and 21 bids for Trakya Elektrik Dagitim AS.
According to OIB's statement, the bidders include energy firms Calik Enerji, electricity generator and energy company Aksa Elektrik Perakende Satis A.S. and construction firm Limak Insaat Sanayi ve Ticaret A.S., which has applied for all four of the power grids.
Media-to-energy conglomerate Dogan Holding's (DOHOL2.IS) energy unit Dogan Enerji Yatirimlari Sanayi Ticaret A.S. has applied for Bogazici grid.
Enerjisa, a partnership between Austrian utility Verbund AG (VER.VI) and Turkey's Haci Omer Sabanci Holding AS (SAHOL.IS), has applied for Bogazici and Gediz grids.
Turkish unlisted conglomerate Park Holding AS and Fina Energy Holding A.S., the energy unit of unlisted conglomerate Fina Group, have applied for the Bogazici, Gediz and Trakya grids.
OIB previously said the deadline for the pre-qualification applications was May 4. The deadline for the bids is July 22.
